Keita Takahashi (高橋慶太) Born 1975, known for his quirky, innovative videogames Katamari Damacy and Nobi Nobi Boy, Takahashi was invited to create a new playground at Woodthorpe Grange in Nottingham, Britain. “I hope that whole families will be able to play in the park together. It would be great if people’s pet dogs can also play with the equipment. What gives me the most joy is seeing people having fun. [Playgrounds and video games] are both fun things. They actually aren’t that different.” Says Takahashi. That is what I particularity like about Keita Takahashi. If your aim is to see people having fun, why limit yourself to a single branch?
I don’t think Kaworu understands anything about clothing.
He is used to running free with no clothes as nature intended, so he never needed to develop lilin things like how to dress to express yourself and influence people.
All of these horrible decisions are his. How is he supposed to know the difference between one item of clothing or another, so long as it covers the body in a suitable manner?
There’s no way in hell that Shinji is going to say anything about it, I mean, he obviously doesn’t know any better and he’s just trying to fit in with all the other lilin. Kaworu-kun is so nice to him, Shinji would never let him make other people’s taste levels suffer alone. He’d be embarrassed, but from time to time, he does wear clothing bought for him by his dear angel friend.
Images you may have seen lately of these two in horrific jackets, gingham, mismatched socks and Keds are images you might be tempted to laugh at. Think about the way you are laughing about someone who does not understand our lilin culture, who has done so much for us no matter what he wears. You are laughing about a sweet, innocent little angel and his friend who sacrifices his own pride to make him feel comfortable here on earth, already forced into clothing that suppresses his culture of naked moon harmony.
Think before you begin to make offensive jokes about what is Kaworu’s culture and struggle.
